The duties and responsibilities of the Office of Talent Cltivation inlude as the following:
∙Responsible for the establishment and implementation of institutions and codes related to student and teaching affair management, student status management and exam management; students’ study environment, daily management and service, including establishment and implementation of student reward and punishment system; the implementation and improvement of students' financial aid programs, such as scholarship, aid, loan and subsidy.
∙Responsible for organizing the formulation and distribution of talent training programs. Responsible for organizing the formulation, revision, compilation and distribution of course syllabus, experimental syllabus and teaching schedule.
∙Responsible for conducting the inspection and quality assessment of classroom teaching, practice teaching and basic teaching materials; responsible for building a teaching status feedback mechanism via channels like teachers, students, teaching supervisors, employers and colleges (departments) to monitor and handle all levels of teaching accidents.
∙Responsible for carrying out research on basic teaching management systems related to professional construction, curriculum construction, textbook construction, teaching evaluation, teacher development, resource construction, etc., and formulate relevant teaching management documents.
∙Responsible for the ideological construction, organizational construction and team construction of the Communist Youth League, student party branch, student union, graduate student union and student association of the college, do a good job in the training, education, inspection and member of CPC development and organization of student activists for joining the party, and guide students to carry out beneficial activities like culture and art, sports activities, social practice activities, technological innovation and so on.
∙Responsible for organizing the recommendation work for postgraduate students who don't need to attend the examinations for master's degree, the college students' graduation, degree confirmation and related certificate management. Responsible for student employment guidance, graduate recommendation, graduate dispatch and other related work.
∙Responsible for delivering teaching assignments and organizing students’ course selection; responsible for organizing and implementation of students’ final exams and other exams as well as auditing of exam fees; responsible for circumstance and discipline building of undergraduate students.
∙Responsible for organizing curriculum construction, textbook construction, planing, selection and recommendation of outstanding textbooks, promoting online course reforms such as video open-course, and instructing teachers to conduct teaching reform practices.
∙Carrying out college students’ mental health education and daily psychological counseling work, building corresponding student management plans, carrying out the prevention and handling of students’ discipline breaking or accidental events.
∙Responsible for the construction of the head teacher team, and carry out the selection, training, management, assessment, communication and other work of the head teacher.
