Speaker Profile:Xie Guangming, professor and doctoral supervisor of College of Engineering,Peking University. He obtained his bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees from Tsinghua University in 1996, 1998 and 2001, respectively. From 2001 to 2003, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Peking University. He has hosted six National Natural Science Foundation projects including key projects and participated in ‘973 project’ and ‘863 project’. He also works as a number of additional academic positions, including the review expert of National Natural Science Foundation project, , the deputy director of the Robotics Competition Committee of the China Automation Society, the member of the Youth Working Committee of the China Automation Society, and the member of the China System Simulation Society Intelligent IOT System Modeling and Simulation Committee, member of the Professional Robotics Committee of the China Productivity Promotion Association. He is also a member of the editorial board of many journals, includingScientific Reports, International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems, Journal of Information and Systems Science, Mathematical Problem in Engineering,Journal of Engineeringand Military Engineering Automation,etc.
