The 25th International Water Wave and Floating Body Conference

The 25th International Water Wave and Floating Body Conference, which is the most specialized international conference on marine hydrodynamics, was held in Harbin. The conference was organized by the College of Shipbuilding Engineering of Harbin Engineering University, and it was the first time that the conference is held in China.

The conference lasted for 4 days. The participants from more than 20 countries, including 60 foreign and 13 domestic presented51 papers

The topics ranged from ship hydrodynamics, ocean engineering hydrodynamics, hydroelasticity, high-speed ships, sloshing in LNG tanks, large floating bodies, computational fluid dynamics, wave energy, and port-related linear and non-linear water wave problems.
