On Dec. 6, 2018, a team of 9 members of HEU-Heading of Harbin Engineering Uni. headed for Hawaii, U.S. to participate the 3rd RobotX Maritime Challenge Competition, which was held by Robot Nation Co. U.S.A. being a top-level competition of unmanned surface boats, and the most complex competition ever held by Robot Nation. Aiming at promoting the development in unmanned marine vehicles, it is held each other years, and greatly helps in progress of scientific exchange and higher education for the students and researchers around the Pacific. 15 teams participated this time, from U.S. China, Japan, and Singapore. The team representing Harbin Engineering Uni., HEU-Heading, was organized by the Submersible Robot Technology Key Lab of Harbin Engineering Uni.
