China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) recently publicized the candidate list of The 3rd Youth Talent Raising Project (2017-2019). Associate professor Ni Baoyu and lecturer Sun Hanbing of this college were selected in it.

Youth Talent Raising Project is the national talent support program launched in 2015 by China Association for Science and Technology. According to “the management measures of Chinese Association for Science and Technology Young Talent Support Project” and “Rules for the Implementation of the China Association for Science and Technology's Support Project for Young Talents”, it will provides, for three consecutive years, with stable support for scientific and technical personnel with strong ability of innovation and development potential under 32 years of age. An amount of 150,000 yuan annual subsidy is appropriated to support each of them in making outstanding performance during their “Golden period of scientific research”, and striving to grow up to be innovative high-level talents and academic leaders in national science and technology field, having both morality and professional competence .
