Reporter Profile:Muk Chen Ong is a Professor in Marine Technology and Marine Operations at University of Stavanger (UiS), Norway. He is currently UiS coordinator for Norwegian Marine University Consortium, EU project positioning coordinator for Ocean Technology at UiS, Project Leader of Subsea Technology in Statoil-UiS Academic Program and Adjunct Professor at Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (China). He has published over 90 international journal and conference papers. He is an Associate Editor of ASME Journal of Offshore Mechanics and Arctic Engineering and an Editorial Board Member of Ocean Systems Engineering (International Journal). He is also scientific committee members in International Conference on Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering (OMAE), International Conference on Scour and Erosion (ICSE) and Conference on Computational Mechanics (MekIT).
