From July 26th to 27th, 2013, the 3rd International Deep Sea Offshore Engineering Symposium (DOSS2013), sponsored by the Deep Sea Engineering Technology Research Centre of the College of Shipbuilding Engineering, Harbin Engineering University, and the Deep Sea Engineering and Ship Technology Collaborative Innovation Centre, was held in the basic laboratory building of HEU.
The meeting invited representatives from nearly 30 organizations from the United States, Britain, France and China. Among them, 9 were universities, 6 research institutes and 14 companies of naval architecture and ocean engineering. .
The first day of the symposium was a short-term training course of key technologies of deep-sea floating structures. And the second day was discussions of their researches and the latest advances in the field of deep-sea engineering.
