To make practicable the national strategy of innovation and strengthening the development in the field of marine and ocean-engineering, encouraging and praising the talents who have contributed greatly in that field, the China, Shipbuilding Engineering Society launched the 1st Activity for Appraising of Outstanding Science and Innovation Talents. And, the 3rd session of the 14^th counsel meeting was held in Guangzhou on Dec 5, 2018, whereon 20 scientists in the field of marine and ocean-engineering were awarded as the 1st Term of Excellent Scientific and Innovation Talents. Teachers Xue Yan Zhuo, Guo Jun and Jing Feng Mei of the college of Shipbuilding Engineering of this Uni. were in that list.
