Introduction to the Laboratory
The Port and Coastal Integrated Laboratory is one of the undergraduate teaching programs at our university. It was established in 2005 and is currently part of the Mechanics Fundamentals Laboratory of the State-level Demonstration Center for Experimental Teaching in Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering. The laboratory is equipped with practical instruments and equipment for engineering surveying, hydraulic experiments, geotechnical experiments, engineering sedimentation tanks, and harbor wave tanks, with a total value of 1.5 million yuan.
Experimental Capabilities
The laboratory is mainly responsible for undergraduate experimental teaching tasks in the major of "Port Channel and Coastal Engineering." The experimental content includes civil engineering materials, hydraulic surveying practice, geotechnical experiments, hydraulic experiments, river and coastal dynamics experiments, and other practical courses, totaling 44 experimental projects and 136 hours of study.
