The 2018 College and Department Aim and Duty Checking results were made public lately, with the evaluation by the leaders of this Uni. colleges and relevant administration offices, the 4th session of the 19th CP standing committee, decided that, our college was evaluated as “Excellent”.

This college passed the first time of Specialty International Evaluation, the assessment experts affined unanimously that our Marine and Ocean-engineering specialty as “International 1st Rate”. This college obtained 1 Scientific Research 2nd-rank National Natural Technical Invention, 8 National Key Research Projects, 22 National Natural Science Foundation Projects, holding the first in this Uni. And, one teacher was elected as leading talent in the “National 10000 Talent Project”, another one was elected as “Youth 1000 Talents”. The college obtained one National Teaching Excellency Award of 2nd-Rank, the student class 20150115 was awarded National College Energetic CP Branch. And the college was approved to setup one of the Deep-sea Engineering Device and Technology Key Labs, by the Ministry of Industry and Information. The Sino-Portuguese Ocean-engineering Coop-Lab was approved to be the setting-up project, of Education Ministry. 2 long-term and 4 short-term scientific Exchange Projects jointly with, respectively, Norway, U.K., Russia, Portuguese etc. have been established. 2 teachers were lately appointed international scientific organization committee members(ISSC, and North Pole University Union). 10 teachers became the editorial board members of some international scientific journals.
