In 2018 the college’s innovation research organization summarized the abilities, making practical the innovation spirit, and shew remarkable progress in fulfilling new tasks. Individually, or as the college, 4 National Key R and D Projects were proposed and approved, the relevant state appropriating grant amounted to 45 million yuens, being the highest in our record. And, the college took charge in a high tech ship research project and took part in many others.

The college in 2018, guided by the spirit of “Double 1st-class Building up”, actively made practical the 3-year Key-task Program, setting up the key projects’ fulfillment as the core, strived to improve the ability in constructing a set of methods, from planning, application to complete procedures management. The college made a great effort lately in Polar equipment, Polar submersible, Ocean Exploration, ROV accessories, etc. building up an advanced and leading advantageous developing platform, as the college’s layout, providing supports for undertaking significant research tasks.
