The Chinese Association for Science and Technology (CAST) recently announced the list of scholars elected for the third “Youth Talent Raising Project (2017-2019)”. Associate professor Ni Baoyu and lecturer Sun Hanbing of our college are on the list.

The “Youth Talent Raising Project “is a national talent support program launched in 2015 by the Chinese Association for Science and Technology. According to “the CAST management measures of Chinese Association for Science and Technology for the Young Talent Raising Project” and “Implementation Rules of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology for Youth Talent Raising Project”, 3-year consecutive support is provided to scholars aged 32 or below who are innovative and prospective, and a subsidy of 150,000 yuan is granted each year. The support aims to help and encourage them to, during their prime years of scientific research, make greater achievements, and endeavor to become innovative high-level talents and pioneer researchers with both ethnic integrity and professional competence in the science and technology areas of the country.
