In order to strengthen the exchanges between the deans of colleges of naval architecture and ocean engineering and promote the high-quality development of education and scientific research, the second Meeting of Deans of Colleges of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering of partner Chinese universities, hosted by the College of Shipbuilding Engineering of Harbin Engineering University. The meeting was held at the University on 1 August, and is one of the important activities for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Harbin Engineering University.

Wang Junli, chief secretary of Chinese Society of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Yao Yu, president and deputy CCP secretary of Harbin Engineering University, and Geng Jing, assistant to the president and executive deputy dean of the undergraduate school, attended the meeting. Deans of 26 colleges of naval architecture and ocean engineering of partner universities and experts and scholars participated in the meeting; Li Ye, dean of the School of Shipbuilding Engineering, presided over the meeting.

Dozens of deans and experts and scholars have used this platform of the Deans’ Joint Conference, to introduce their achievements, exchange experience, seeking solutions, establish collaborations, draw the blueprint for the development of the discipline of naval architecture and ocean engineering.
