On 13th April, Gu Guoqiang, CCP Secretary of School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Li Wei, Dean of the School, Xie Yuxiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Xu Guohua, Vice Dean of the School, and Xiang Xianbo visited the College of Shipbuilding Engineering. Li Ye (Dean of the College), Su Zhi (Deputy CCP Secretary), Tian Yuxin (Vice Dean), Kang Zhuang (Vice Dean), Wang Chao (Vice Dean), Sun Shili (Vice Dean) received the delegates from HUST.

On behalf of the college, Li Ye expressed his warm welcome to the delegates from School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The two colleges exchanged their experiences in education and scientific research. They both have expressed their intention to continue and strengthen their collaboration to develop the discipline in naval architecture and ocean engineering.
