The 13th list of Heilongjiang Youth Science and Technology awards has just been announced. Professor Li Ye of our college is on the list.

Li Ye, born in March, 1978, PhD, member of Communist Party of China, is a professor of Harbin Engineering University, deputy director of National Key Laboratory of Underwater Robot Technology, and the member of the national underwater vehicle standardization technical committee. Professor Li has coordinated more than 20 national and provincial research projects. He has made breakthroughs in the areas of underwater vehicle anti-disturbance control, autonomous underwater docking and the bottom topography matching navigation. Professor Li has made substantial contribution to the research and development of underwater unmanned equipment. He was selected into the National Ten Thousand Plan, ministry of education outstanding talent in the new century and national, and also nominated for excellent doctoral dissertation. Professor Li Ye won the second prize of provincial and ministerial level 3 times. He is the author/co-author of more than 300 papers and 2 books. He also possesses 18 patents and 21 software copyrights.
