On December 28th, The talent coordination group office of the central government officially published the 3rd list of leader talents of the “Ten Thousand Talent Plan” , and Professor Zhang Aman was approved .

Professor Zhang Aman, supervisor of PhD students, is an MOE Changjiang Young Scholar. His research areas include underwater explosion, bubble dynamics and fluid-solid coupling. Professor Zhang has been involved more than research projects including national Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) key projects and National Defense 973 sub-topic Projects. Professor Zhang Aman has received many academic awards and honors, including Young Scholar of the Changjiang scholars program, Young Talent of the Top Talent Support Program of the Central Organization Department (Ten Thousand Talent Plan), Supporting Program for Excellent Talent of New Century, nomination of national 100 outstanding PhD thesis, Huo Yingdong fund for young teachers, Huo Yingdong award for young teachers, Longjiang scholars and Outstanding Youth by the Heilongjiang Provincial Science Foundation. The achievements in scientific research of Professor Zhang include national second-level prize for advances in science and technology, Two provincial and ministerial level prizes for advances in science and technology , and another eight prizes of the same type. He has more than 20 patents of invention, published two books more than 80 SCI papers with more than 500 citations. He is on the evaluation panel of NSFC project proposals and also that of the national awards. He is the deputy director of the fifth youth science and technology committee of China Traffic and Transportation Association, and also a member of meshless and particle-alike method group of the 9th computation mechanics committee of China Mechanics Association. He is also on editorial board of “Journal of Hydrodynamics”, “Journal of Marine Science and Application”, “Ship Engineering”, “Chinese Journal of Ship Research”, “Experimental Fluid Mechanics” and “Acta Aerodynamica Sinica”.
